Even though I was born in Brazil, I spent most of my life in United States. My family and I incorporated a lot of the American holidays into our lives. We celebrated Thanksgiving for as long as I can remember. And I remember going to my local beach growing up to watch the fireworks on 4th of July. It was always so exciting! Now that I married an American man, I look forward to the future traditions we’ll make on big national holidays.
